Nature’s Prettier when Breakin’ the Law!

Unseasonably warm temperature have often been linked to higher crime rates. At least for this crime, we had a reason: the falls are so pretty.

Boulder Falls, located north of Boulder, is part of a five acre former mine claim that was donated by banker Charles G. Buckingham in order to protect its beauty from “encroachment of the tungsten boom” that was going on at the time. Good thing he did, it offers a wonderful drive, great hikes and opportunity for some climbing (if you’re into that!)
