Is this the center, or is this!?

. .
Within a week of one another, we hit both the geographic center of the United States AND the geographic center of North America. Only 442 miles apart and in our two Dakota territories, the geographic centers represent similar, but distinctly different definitions of “center” though they are QUITE close.

Rugby, ND is defined as the the center of North America, while Belle Fourche, SD is defined as the center of the United States (including Hawaii and Alaska). Can’t wait for the center of the contiguous United States in Lebanon Kansas.

Here are pictures so far.

Victoria standing at the center of the United States - Thanks to Hawaii, it's in South Dakota.

V and K standing at the Geographic center of NORTH AMERICA - in Rugby, North Dakota.
