Apparently the Walk of Fame was the 1989 brainchild of Mike Steves, a local print shop owner who wanted to repay the community for the years of support they provided him. And, most assuredly, wanted to draw traffic to his print shop outside of which these were located until 2000. That’s his smiling mug on the sign explaining this exhibit.
This is perhaps the strangest roadside treat we’ve been able to gulp down so far on our trip. Pictures (accompanied by captions) are worth at least 30-40 words, so… without further wait… walk with us along the Fargo Walk of Fame.
