A Taste of the Past

B&K Rootbeer stands once numbered over 230 in the Midwest, now down to a handful.  The faded sign will tell you that this particular stand – where car hops still come out to take and deliver your order, and provide you with a window stand if needed – likely dates to the mid 1960s.

Victoria had the traditional root beer float which apparently only comes in one size – OBESE – and I had the root beer frost which is more of a milk shake with root beer mixed in. Delicious!
